The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies for the community.
SASSA is going to be rendering expert services such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a press release, the agency explained it's alarmed concerning the superior amount of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The purpose in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is click here to reach-out to a superior quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no thoroughly functional office focused on service the area every day. The support position established for intervention encounters a high influx of likely beneficiaries, that makes it tricky to the Workplace to attend to all people who check out a service click here point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more assets to enable the servicing of all sassa clients and raise entry to Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
